I Don't Always Have to Give Answers, Do I?

Lately, I've been noticing so many thoughts being expressed after I've been unemployed. These thoughts of people I know are coming to me through digital algorithms, not face-to-face conversations. I talk to myself, oh my god, isn't this scary?

Some of these people started talking, perhaps about my inability to empathize in the past, or even contradicting one or two of my opinions, without asking for detailed reasons behind them. And all of this was done behind my back... none of it was done in front of me, not even over Zoom meetings.

Honestly, I could've responded or left a comment right then and there. I could've given a long answer explaining the reasons behind every action or word I said.

But I canceled my intention.

For me, my answers still wouldn't have satisfied them. They will still have their own opinions, and I can respect that.

It also made me think that humans are always thinking about many things. We all react, but few of us try to confirm. We prefer to win ourselves over. There's no need to ask any more questions; just go and find a place that aligns with ourselves.

Then, I started to think that if they weren't even willing to ask, why should I bother answering?

After all, not everything in this world has an answer. Even Socrates once said, "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing."

So, I don't always have to give an answer, right?
